This game is awesome, but the only con I found is that theres no HD fullscreen. It would be really nice if there would be a high-resolution version, because its not fun to play on a 1920x1080 resolution in fullscreen. A must-buy game!

My mac never crashed untill I got this game. now when ever the game is open I get a screen of death. Not cool!

This is my favourite game of all time super fun and super , well different, all the games that have zombies in them include guns and blood and all the games with plants in them are normally boring . This game is not boring and does not involve any blood or violence! I think that any kid could play this game and have tons of fun , at any age! So buy it its a good price ! Its also avaliable on Ipod ,Iphone or Ipad !!! I thought this game was going to be ok, but when I got it I could not stop playing it. A bunch of surprises throughout the game and once your finished adventure, your really not. You have a bunch of puzzles, mini-games, and survival mode to do. Best game ever. I promise you that you will love it. My only negative comment is that I wish it could have been longer, but maybe that will come in an update, who knows.

GAMEPLAY 10/10 this game gives very interresting gameplay, you choose your plants and plant them one by one to defend your house from a hoarde of zombies. What makes this an epic strategy game?: Which plants are you going to choose, where are you going to plant them, which plants are you going to plant first, what are you going to buy from the store? In the end it all amounts to strategy. I know many strategy games ( cough cough civilization 5) where you have to be hardcore to understand its huge variety of decisions, this game is designed for both newcomers at strategy games and old pros. GRAPHICS 8.5/10 This game looks and plays very good and some would say is a masterpeice. Although the game looks very well like a cartoon show the full screen in garbage. This gamewas clearly not disigned for full screen. If you have ever played an ipod app on an ipad, this is what to expect in full screen. dark and dull. SOUND 7/10 Nothing special here. You will often find that zombies make the same noises over and over but, you will barely notice this. In a strategy genre, WHO CARES ABOUT SOUND. I play this game with the volume turned down. But I have to say all song are very catchy, especially the final levels. LASTING APPEAL 10/10 YOU WILL BECOME A ZOMBIE PLAYING THIS GAME. I first played the ipod/iphone version of this game and liked it a lot. Decided to try the Mac version & it doesnt disappoint. The game plays very nicely on the Mac & is just as fun. My only complaints would be the graphics could have been pumped up a bit more for the Mac version - especially for full screen view. My second complait would be that the game may be a bit overpriced at $10 - the reason for this is I would expect even more on the Mac since it is a computer and could handle more levels or extra features, but you dont seem to get enough to warrant the higher price and to take advantage of a Macs power vs the portable versions. Still a great game and worth the purchase - would get 5 stars if Popcap added the features I suggested.

On my 27" iMac it could look much better. Plays great, its everything youd expect PLUS the Zombie Creator (which is fun), but comparing this to Angry Birds, its clear who did their homework to get it just right on the desktop

Great and very original game. A lot of fun and a great time killer. worth the $10 price even, I must say its a very fun game.

This has been one of my favorite tower defense games ever. The levels and special features you can add by collecting enough "coins" to grow your "tree of wisdom" to 1000 ft are so cool. Nothing says fun like making zombies burst like pinatas when you kill them. There are lots of extra levels that range from easy to hard. All three of my kids, and myself, love this game. We have had thousands of hours of gameplay between us. The extra fun of collecting all of the different plants and feeding chocolate to your snail to keep it hyper are just plain cool. I have to say the BEST feature of this version of P vs. Z is the personal zombie avatar that you get to create… and the fact that YOUR zombie is the flag carrier in the final rush of each round. Never mind the fact that I can now use MY zombie as an avatar online.. mwahahaha. Considering how many hours of entertainment I have gotten from this game I think the price is good value and definitely worth it. Almost makes me feel like Im shopping at "Crazy Daves"… Why do they call him crazy??? Cuz hes CRAAAAAAAZY!!!

Great quality, doesnt lag at all. I think its better than iPhones Plants vs. Zombies! Though I hope it can have more levels or an update because this game is so addicting, I can finish it in days!

I loved this game on my iPod and I love it even more on my mac. I beat the game and was still playing it, beating all the puzzles and survival modes. But now every time I try to start up the app, it quits automatically before it can get past the loading screen. Id still give Plants vs. Zombies a good rating but if you could fix this problem in the next update that would be great!

It would be even better if there was icloud support so we could play on the iPhone then go to the computer and continue where we left off.

I give this game 4 out of 5 because I have noticed that it was made to suit an iphone better, rather than a Mac book. Overall its a fantastic game that is hours of fun.

I would stick to iPad and iPhone for this game. You would expect for $9.99 that the Mac version would be higher resolution and be able to play full screen properly, but it doesnt. When I play the game full screen it doesnt fit the screen properly and the mouse doesnt line up with the target. Waste of $9.99 if you ask me. Hopefully they will fix the problems.

Great game. You should download this game because you WILL NOT be disappointed with the actual game play. Purchased for iPad and iMac. However, the graphics are terrible on the full screen version on iMac--pretty upsetting considering the price.
